First let's run through some warnings and disclaimers:
Skips and severe scratches: If the groove of your LP is damaged to the point of skipping, we may not be able to rescue that song. We'll do our best to salvage it, but it won't be perfect. It may also be impossible to completely eliminate severe pops, clicks or scratches. The remnants are usually minimally noticable, especially considering the fact that we eliminate over 40,000 pops, clicks and scratches on every LP with digitize.
Bad recordings: Some records never sounded good. We can remove noise, but not add dynamics where none exist on the LP. If the LP sounds mushy and flat, the CD will also sound mushy and flat, but cleaner.
We handle your LPs with the greatest care once they arrive, and for the most part, so do the major delivery services. We don't, however, take responsibility to packages that are damaged or lost in transit.
We convert 33 1/3 or 45 rpm recordings. Sorry, no 78s.
We recommend the following when shipping your albums to us:
1. Insure your package.
2. Properly package your albums per the instructions provided by your shipping service for fragile items. If you aren't sure how to do this, take your albums to a shipping store, and they will package them for you.
We charge a flat shipping fee of $4 per album for return shipping. Add insurance is an additional $3.
Turn-around time is 5 business days for orders of up to 3 LPs. More may take longer.
